  • nathan riley

    Elder

    Nathan and his family moved to Portland in 2020 to help serve as part of the leadership team at Red Sea Church. He has served in a variety of vocational ministry roles since 2004, including several years as a foreign missionary, worship pastor, church planter, elder, and lead pastor. His wife, Kari, is a home birth midwife, and together their family shares a passion for seeing people and communities come to saving faith in Jesus. Nathan and Kari were married in 2005 and have four children: Caelan, Adelaide, Evelyn, and Annabelle. In addition to pastoring, Nathan coaches youth football, enjoys making music, loves smoking large quantities of meat, and is an avid Star Wars fan.

    Elder

    Originally from the Eugene area, Nate moved to Portland in 2003 and has been a part of the Red Sea family since 2011. He joined as a bi-vocational elder at Red Sea in 2021. Nate and Sarah were married in 2019, and live in St. Johns with their dog Pretzel.

  • doug fuller

    Elder

    Doug and Joanne met at George Fox College and married in 1979. They have lived in the Portland metro area since 1981.  While working full-time in Information Technology, Doug served three churches in a variety of roles: leading worship, teaching, and as a member of several leadership boards. Doug and Joanne, both now retired, long to be examples and encouragers to younger individuals and families on their faith journey with Jesus. They have two married daughters and three grandchildren.
