  • nathan riley


    Nathan and his family moved to Portland in 2020 to help serve as part of the leadership team at Red Sea Church. He has served in a variety of vocational ministry roles since 2004, including several years as a foreign missionary, worship pastor, church planter, elder, and lead pastor. His wife, Kari, is a home birth midwife, and together their family shares a passion for seeing people and communities come to saving faith in Jesus. Nathan and Kari were married in 2005 and have four children: Caelan, Adelaide, Evelyn, and Annabelle.

    Originally from the Eugene area, Nate moved to Portland in 2003 and has been a part of the Red Sea family since either 2011. He joined as a bi-vocational elder at Red Sea in 2021. Nate and Sarah were married in 2019, and live in St. Johns with their dog Pretzel.
